Pickfords is delighted to have been awarded Highly Commended in the Newcomer Large Employer of the Year category at the National Apprenticeship Awards.
The Awards, run by the National Apprenticeship Service, recognise excellence in businesses that grow their own talent with apprentices.
Sue Husband, Director of the National Apprenticeship Service, said: “The National Apprenticeship Awards enable talented apprentices and committed employers to receive the recognition they truly deserve - celebrating the achievements of apprentices and businesses and allowing them to gain the credit for investing in their own futures, whilst driving up quality and encouraging others to get involved.

Pickfords' Apprentice Scheme was launched in 2015, and has since successfully recruited and trained over 50 apprentices in various roles across the company. The scheme is an excellent opportunity for young people entering the job market to gain valuable experience in their chosen sector.
