Pickfords Business Solutions was recently nominated as finalist for the SME Innovation Award at the RWM Exhibition at the NEC on the 11th and 12th of September.
The RWM event is the leading recycling and waste management event in the UK and is a platform for the industry’s most influential names and organisations to discover the latest innovations shaping their sector.
Pickfords Business Solutions attended as an exhibitor to showcase its environmental services to help companies recycle or reuse unwanted furniture and IT equipment at the time of a workplace change project.
Pickfords entered the Innovation Award and was nominated as a finalist following a presentation to the judging panel by Head of Business Solutions Martin Budd and Environmental Services Manager Anthony Weil.
In the final selection, Pickfords was second to Cambridge based manufacturer Cambond Ltd
Martin Budd said “We are very pleased to have reached the final after showcasing our services to help companies manage the recycling of their unwanted furniture in an environmentally friendly manner. RWM is a huge event and the competition was very strong, but we were delighted to have been considered worthy of the final”.
