Pickfords is hiring a Sales Consultant to join our team to support revenue growth, manage customer relationships and maintain service standards. As the UK's largest removals and storage company, we require a results-oriented professional with sales experience and a consultative approach. 

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct customer surveys via telephone, video call and field visits.
  • Record all enquiries and quotations in our CRM system.
  • Identify customer buying criteria and assess pricing responses. 
  • Prepare accurate costings and determine margins.
  • Promote insurance sales and additional revenue opportunities. 
  • Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
  • Follow up on all quotations and maintain records.
  • Collaborate with our Operations team to plan moves.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in sales, preferably within a service-based industry. 
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills. 
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence in PC-based systems and CRM tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Understanding the customer needs and marketing competition.
  • Strong networking abilities and commercial awareness.
