Pickfords is hiring a Sales Consultant to join our team to support revenue growth, manage customer relationships and maintain service standards. As the UK's largest removals and storage company, we require a results-oriented professional with sales experience and a consultative approach.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct customer surveys via telephone, video call and field visits.
- Record all enquiries and quotations in our CRM system.
- Identify customer buying criteria and assess pricing responses.
- Prepare accurate costings and determine margins.
- Promote insurance sales and additional revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
- Follow up on all quotations and maintain records.
- Collaborate with our Operations team to plan moves.
What we're looking for
- Experience in sales, preferably within a service-based industry.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence in PC-based systems and CRM tools.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Understanding the customer needs and marketing competition.
- Strong networking abilities and commercial awareness.
