I'm emigrating to Qatar, how can you help?

FCL (Full Container Load)

Your household effects will be export wrapped at your home and loaded into a 20ft or 40ft container and transported directly to the docks to await the next scheduled sailing. Pickfords' freight forwarding operation will liaise with the local Allied agent in Qatar. Our agent will help clear your goods through customs and deliver them to your new home.

Groupage (Shared services)

Your effects are export packed at your home on an agreed date and transferred to our international warehouse for onward transport to your new home.

You will share a container with another Pickfords customer moving to Qatar. This is a cost-effective and ideal service if you are taking a smaller shipment, as you only pay for the space your goods use in the container.

What happens with customs clearance?

If you are emigrating to Qatar from the UK, you must be aware of the customs regulations that apply. Your Move Manager will be happy to offer advice. Our agent in Qatar will provide assistance through the customs clearance process and, once completed, will carry out final delivery and unpacking at your new home.

What about storage and insurance when moving to Qatar?
