When emigrating to UAE, Pickfords will arrange packing and shipment of your goods to be passed on to Allied Pickfords in-country and delivered to your new home.

Allied Pickfords has a local UAE office in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and most populous city, Dubai, ensuring a personal, local delivery service when you relocate.

What happens with my paperwork?

Your UK and UAE Move Managers will advise you on customs regulations, provide appropriate forms and help and guidance through the clearance process.

How will my belongings be transported?

Your personal effects will be stored in packing boxes and secured in large metal containers, before being carried to UAE on container ships where they can be tracked using our international shipment tracking service. Transit times depend on which shipping service you choose:

Shipping service options

Full container load

Opting for exclusive use of a container will ensure your effects reach either Dubai or Abu Dhabi within 5 to 7 weeks.

Groupage

Alternatively, you can share a container load with other customers to ensure you only pay for the space you use. Groupage transit times are between 5 to 9 weeks.

The transit time detailed is for guideline purposes only and may be subject to variation dependent upon prevailing market conditions, shipping line capacity and actual sailings. Your Move Manager will keep you updated following collection of your shipment.

Do you offer car shipping?

Yes. We can ship any motor vehicle to UAE, subject to local customs restrictions.

What about storage?
