Giant turtles take over London to champion marine conservation with the tusk turtle trail
Recently, Pickfords delivered a number of giant turtle sculptures to Piccadilly Circus for the press launch of the Tusk Turtle Trail.
As the official logistics partner, we then carefully transported and placed the sculptures at their designated locations across London – from Covent Garden and Carnaby Street to Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and even the top of The Shard!
Each sculpture has been uniquely designed by artists and celebrities, including Ronnie Wood, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett, Jen and John Cleese and many more.
The Tusk Turtle Trail is a public art exhibition designed to raise awareness of endangered marine turtles and support vital conservation work across Africa.
The sculptures will stay in London until September, before they are auctioned off through Tusk to raise funds for marine conservation and help protect endangered wildlife.
